HSM - 652 Health Policy


HSM 652 introduces students to the public policy and political environments that influence and shape the manner in which health care is obtained and delivered in the United States. More specifically, this course will examine the organization and financing of health care, politics, and the influence of Medicare and Medicaid policies through the lens of contemporary health policy issues. In addition to conceptual discussion, the course includes a variety of techniques to analyze and evaluate health policy decisions and their implications on health care organizations.
