SLP - 510 Professional Issues-Speech Language Pathology

This course provides an overview of professional issues for speech-language pathologists. Topics include regulatory guidelines, licensure, scope of practice, professional code of ethics, healthcare reimbursement and fiduciary responsibility, risk management and legal issues, effective communication skills, best professional practice (HIPPA, FERPA) and other current professional areas.
