HSC - 454 Principles of Biochemistry

This course will provide students a basic understanding of the structure, properties, functions and metabolism of proteins, carbohydrates, lipids and nucleic acids. The analysis and application of these fundamental concepts used for testing organ function and evaluating disease will be discussed. Prerequisite: Departmental permission.
