HSC - 483 Community Health

This is an introductory course on concepts, structures and activities in community and public health practice. This course will explore the major areas of community health, epidemiology, health systems management, public health policy, public health advocacy, environmental and behavioral health sciences. Special topics in community health sciences will also be examined with a focus on health disparities/health equity in Chicago.
