CLM - 508 Health Care Informatics

This course will include an overview of health care informatics. It is designed to provide a web-based learning approach to teaching the principles of laboratory information systems management and the review processes for selection, installation, building test dictionaries, validation, training and integration with electronic health records. Readings, articles from professional journals, internet references and website resources will permit the learner to acquire advanced and current information in each of the major topic area.
