NSG - 543A Anesthesia Principles I: Basic Principles

A solid foundation of basic knowledge is vital to nurse anesthesia practice. This course provides a comprehensive orientation to nurse anesthesia practice, facilitating incorporation of safe, basic, principles into the delivery of competent, responsible patient care. In the co-requisite practicum course, there will be experiences that will allow the students to begin to develop the general clinical skills in the practice of anesthesia that will serve as the basis for subsequent progression to a more advanced nurse anesthesia practice.
