NSG - 570A Pharmacotherapeutics Acute Care

Course provides the advanced practice nurse with knowledge of pharmacotherapeutics for common acute and chronic health conditions across the lifespan according to specialty area of practice. Building on the student’s knowledge of pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics, content includes medications used for the diagnosis and treatment of a variety of physical and psychiatric disorders and monitoring the physical, behavioral and psychiatric responses to such interventions.
