SUR - 798 Trauma/Critical Care Surgery

This rotation is designed to provide the fourth year medical student with an in-depth clinical experience in the care of injured patients. Critical decision making and surgical training are the key elements taught during resuscitation, operative management and the critical care phase. The student will follow patients from the ambulance to their discharge home. Multi-level supervision and teaching is available from attending physicians and residents.
