PHA - 593 Advanced Clinical Practice I

This course is part one of a 2-part course series in an advanced area of PA practice. This course consists of a 15-week rotation in a single, focused area of advanced PA clinical practice. Students will select from several areas of medicine or surgery as they are available. Availability of advanced practice clinical areas and locations are determined by the Director of Clinical Education. Advanced clinical rotations will generally require a minimum of 40 contact hours per week. Prerequisite: Successful completion of second year PA rotations and evaluations.
