RCP - 501 Foundations of Professional Practice

This course is designed to provide the student with the knowledge and skills to appropriately utilize evidence-based communication, teamwork, and conflict resolution concepts. The opportunities and challenges of social media in professional and personal contexts will also be explored. Additionally, the course will provide an overview of informatics topics that are most relevant to professional practice, namely, informatics standards, standardized clinical terminology, electronic health records, and information literacy.
