SLP - 562 Craniofacial Anomalies and Genetic Syndromes

This course reviews the embryology, anatomy, and physiology of normal and abnormal development of orofacial structures. The focus is on cleft-palate and craniofacial anomalies with associated syndromes. Surgical, dental, audiological, and feeding aspects are addressed. Speech, language, and resonance evaluation and intervention strategies are discussed with a focus on current literature.
