RCP - 534 Clinical Practice I

Students will observe and achieve competencies related to respiratory procedures in general medical/surgical floors and adult intensive care units. Introduces students to clinical respiratory care procedures. Topics include the following: introduction to the clinical affiliate, patient assessment, medical gas therapy, aerosol therapy, incentive spirometry, positive pressure breathing, chest physiotherapy and airway care.
