AUD - 690 Clinical Practicum I

Students are involved in supervised clinical experience with patients of all ages displaying various hearing and balance impairments. Practicum experiences focus on development of specific skills and competencies in the areas of clinical writing, diagnostic evaluation, case history, counseling and treatment techniques for patients from diverse cultural backgrounds. The relationship of audiology to other health care professions is also examined. Prerequisites: AUD-621 and AUD-622. Offered: spring.
