RMD - 723 Medical Informatics

Students will be given an introduction to the field of clinical informatics and complete a research project in informatics. An overview of health care information technology will be provided with an emphasis on elements relevant to clinical careers and informatics research. Students will complete a research project evaluating an informatics application for efficacy, usability or impact on clinical outcomes. Offered: fall, spring and summer.
