MLS - 588 Comprehensive Review

A comprehensive review of hematology, body fluid analysis, clinical chemistry, laboratory operations, immunology, immunohematology, molecular diagnostics and microbiology will be the focus of this course through the analysis of multidisciplinary case studies and completion of weekly examinations. This review course prepares students for the national certification examinations. At the completion of the review all students will take a comprehensive examination. Successful passing of all sections of the departmental comprehensive examination is required for completion of the course and for graduation. Offered: fall, spring and summer.
