CVP - 611 Cardiovascular Perfusion Technology I

This course introduces the perfusion student to the historical development of both cardiac surgery and perfusion technology. In addition, the students will learn about the basic components of the heart lung machine and their principles of function. Students will also learn the principles of aseptic technique as practiced in the operating rooms and related departments of the hospital.
