SLP - 510 Professional Issues in Speech-Language Pathology

This course provides an overview of professional issues for speech-language pathologists. Topics include regulatory guidelines, licensure, scope of practice, professional code of ethics, health care reimbursement and fiduciary responsibility, risk management and legal issues, effective communication skills, best professional practice (HIPPA and FERPA) and other current professional areas.
