PED - 711 Pediatric Cardiology

Ambulatory experience can be obtained in the care of children with congenital and acquired heart disease, as well as assessment of innocent heart murmurs. Clinical history and physical findings are correlated with X-ray, electrocardiographic, echocardiographic and cardiac catheterization data. Didactic sessions are offered once a week, which include learning the interpretation of ECG and chest X-ray. Prerequisite: PED-701. Offered: fall, spring and summer. Retake Counts for Credit: Yes.
