SUR - 711 Cardiovascular Surgery

This course emphasizes the clinical diagnosis and surgical management of adult and pediatric cardiac disorders. Preoperative evaluation, including review of cardiac catheterization data, intraoperative management and postoperative care are discussed at conferences and in the operating room. Indications for surgery, preoperative evaluation and postoperative care are discussed at patient rounds, in conferences and on an individualized basis. Prerequisites: SUR-701 and SUR-795.
