RMD - 750 Transition to Residency

This course will provide fourth-year medical students the opportunity to gain the necessary skills to prepare and navigate the residency program placement process. Students will participate in enrichment activities that will assist in the preparation and completion of USMLE Step CK. They will receive residency interview guidance in individual and small group sessions and subsequently participate in mock interviews. Course content also includes thematic topics to complete Rush University Medical Center designated horizontal, vertical and role curriculum. Students will develop a portfolio, including but not limited to the following: letters of recommendation requests, noteworthy characteristics for MSPE, completion and submission of ERAS applications, curriculum vitae and personal statements.
