NTR - 660 Applied Evidence in Clinical Nutrition: Obesity

This class will provide a comprehensive overview of the epidemiology, pathophysiology (including energy balance, weight regulation, genetics, epigenetics, nutrigenomics and other environmental factors), pharmaceutical treatments and relevant social determinants of health associated with obesity. The course will appraise current evidence in nutrition assessment and medical nutrition therapy in the prevention and treatment of obesity across the life span. Offered: fall.
