NTR - 661 Applied Evidence in Clinical Nutrition: Metabolic Diseases

This class will provide a comprehensive overview of the epidemiology, pathophysiology, pharmaceutical treatments and relevant social determinants of health associated with metabolic disease (metabolic syndrome, diabetes and cardiovascular disease). The course will appraise current evidence in nutrition assessment and medical nutrition therapy in the prevention and treatment of metabolic disease across the life span. Offered: spring.
