CRE - 551 Human Subject Research and the Institutional Review Board (IRB)

This course provides the framework around which clinical research projects are based in terms of the Institutional Review Board (IRB). The course includes didactic lectures on the legal requirements of informed consent, regulatory processes, intellectual property, the role of the Office of Research Integrity and required participation on IRB review panels inside the university.
