CDS - 627 Pathophysiology of the Auditory System

Students discuss risk factor, symptoms and pathogenesis of various ear diseases and auditory system disorders. Audiologic assessments as well as medical/surgical treatments are explained. Students will also be introduced to concepts related to the origins of tinnitus, clinical assessment and treatment efficacy. Prerequisites: CDS 601 , CDS 628 . Credit Hours: (3)
