NSG - 572 Quality and Safety for the Aging Adult

This course prepares nurse leaders to create a culture of quality improvement and patient safety for the aging adult. Current models of quality and patient safety are evaluated in the context of national trends and healthcare priorities. The essential role of interprofessional teams as a mechanism to improve quality and patient safety is addressed. Prerequisite: Research for Evidence- Based Practice, Organizational and Systems Leadership; Corequisite: Health Promotion in Individual and Clinical Populations, Leadership in Evolving Healthcare Environments Credit Hours: (3)
