PAS - 583 General Surgery

The principles of preoperative and postoperative care, diagnosis of surgical disease, indications for surgery, recognition and response to surgical emergencies and the physiological principles of surgery are presented. Technical experience is provided in the operating rooms. Lectures and conferences provide additional direct contact with medical school faculty. Credit Hours: (8)
