VAS - 311 Ultrasound Physics and Physical Principles I

The basic principles of sound and ultrasound are introduced. Important math concepts are reviewed. The emphasis in this course is on the theories of ultrasound, including the basic parameters of sound, the Doppler effect, continuous wave Doppler, pulsed wave Doppler and Doppler color flow.
