BMC - 513 Kinematics of Human Motion Introduces students to the fundamentals of motion analysis measurement, research and clinical applications. After a survey of current and historical motion analysis systems and techniques, students will learn methodology and interpretation of motions accelerations and forces produced by or applied to body segments during daily activities. Focus will be on the lower extremities, but spine and upper body will be introduced as well. Students will also gain familiarity with complementary measurement tools such as electromyography. Prerequisites: BMC 501 , BMC 511 , ANA-503. Credit Hours: (3)
