PHA - 587 Pediatrics

Principles and practice patient care from birth through adolescence are studied by providing direct patient care. Students will learn basic pediatric assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and appropriate referral. The rotation will also provide exposure to developmental milestones, routine immunizations, common childhood illnesses, infant/child safety, and patient/parent education. Seminars, conferences, lectures, and case presentations provide additional learning experiences. Offered: Fall, Spring, & Summer.
