SBB - 564 SBB Project and Clinical Practicum

Independent investigation of a topic relevant to an area in immunohematology. Student will submit a written research paper as well as prepare and deliver a presentation based on the topic selected. Field experience under supervision of a professional expert in a blood center and/or hospital transfusion service setting is required for the clinical practicum. Clinical sites include, but are not limited to, apheresis centers, donor centers, stem cell processing centers, and transfusion service centers. Offered: Summer.
