IS - 442 Radiologic Contrast Agents


Contrast media is used by most modalities of Diagnostic Imaging. This didactic course is designed to provide an in-depth understanding different Contrast medias used in Diagnostic Imaging. A brief historical development and evolution of contrast media is reviewed. Topics include uses, prevention of acute reactions, contrast induced nephropathy, renal adverse reaction and more. Students will follow weekly modules and use textbook and Internet resources to learn more about Contrast Media use, safety issues and Guideline. Students will participate online with other.
