SLP - 589P Speech-Language Pathology Practicum IV


This is an advanced clinical experience with clients/patients/students presenting with speech, language, cognitive-communication, voice, motor-speech, and/or swallowing impairments. Students further develop evaluative, therapeutic, counseling, and report-writing skills. Relationship of speech-language pathology to health care, education, and other professions is further examined. Experience includes patients/clients/students across the lifespan and from diverse cultural back­grounds, in a variety of settings. Opportunities for continuous professional and interprofessional education (IPE) and development to enhance team performance and outcomes are available. Credit Hours: (6)
