NSG - 543A Anesthesia Principles I: Basic Principles of Nurse Anesthesia

A solid foundation of basic knowledge is vital to nurse anesthesia practice. This course provides a comprehensive orientation to nurse anesthesia practice, facilitating incorporation of safe, basic principles into the delivery of competent, responsible patient care. In the co-requisite practicum course, there will be experiences that will allow the student to begin to develop the general clinical skills in the practice of anesthesia that will serve as the basis for subsequent progression to a more advanced nurse anesthesia practice.
