RCP - 511 Introduction to Respiratory Care

Provides students with the principles of chemistry and physics as they apply to respiratory care, an introduction to patient assessment, laboratory findings, radiography, and pathophysiology related to common cardiopulmonary disorders. Specific modes of respiratory care are examined to understand principles of application to common cardiopulmonary disorders and related therapies indications, hazards, contraindications and evaluation.
