Concentrated experience in the multidisciplinary approach to the diagnosis and management of patients with tumors is provided through the Section of Surgical Oncology. Exposure to breast, skin, GI and solid organ tumors occurs through clinical service, attendance of tumor conferences, tours of the basic science research labs, the operating room and interactions with the Rush Cancer Center.
