CVP - 624 Mechanical Circulatory Support

This course introduces the student to the advance practice guidelines for the care of patients treated with cardiac assist devices. Patient selection, implantation, operation and monitoring of various devices, and wound care management techniques required to optimize patient outcomes will be discussed.
