MLS - 588 Comprehensive Review

A comprehensive review of hematology, body fluid analysis, clinical chemistry, laboratory operations, immunology, immunohematology, molecular diagnostics, and microbiology will be the focus of this course through the analysis of multi-disciplinary case studies and completion of weekly examinations. This review course prepares students for the national certification examinations. At the completion of the review all students will take a comprehensive examination. Successful passing of all sections of the departmental comprehensive examination is required for completion of the course and for graduation. Credit Hours: 2
