NSG - 521 Organizational & Systems Leader

This course provides the student with an opportunity to explore organizational and leadership theories, and analyze the process of managing change. The effects of operational and managerial processes on practice environments that affect outcomes, quality, safety and cost effectiveness of patient care are discussed. Ethical leadership principles and role development underpin the course content. Clinical informatics as a component of healthcare is integrated throughout the course.
