HSC - 354 Introduction to Health Professions

This course will introduce the student to the broad array of health occupations and professionals that are essential to the provision of health care. Disciplines in allied health, medicine, and nursing will be reviewed, and the role, function, education, licensure, and scope of practice of the various health professions will be discussed within the context of the health care system in the United States.
