EMD - 703 Core Clerkship: Emergency Medicine

Students are primarily responsible for the clinical management and documentation of patients, including performing an initial and any subsequent assessments, ordering and interpreting any diagnostic workup, discussing the case with any consultants or admitting teams. Emphasis is placed on the student learning how to perform a focused evaluation of an undifferentiated patient, particularly the formation of a differential diagnosis and strengthening clinical decision making skills.
