Topics in Doppler and Color This course is a segment of VAS 311 (Ultrasound Physics and Physical Principles I) and is open to Advanced Placement students in the Vascular Ultrasound program. The principles of Doppler and color ultrasound techniques and instrumentation will be covered, including Doppler effect, Doppler equation, angle steering, angle correct, sample volume, spectral analysis, velocity measurement, color display and color direction, among other related topics.
