SLP - 589P SLP Practicum IV This is an advanced clinical experience with clients/patients/students presenting with speech, language, cognitive-communication, voice, motor-speech and/or swallowing impairments. Students will devise and integrate evaluative, therapeutic, counseling and report-writing skills with patients/clients/students across the lifespan and from diverse cultural backgrounds, in a variety of settings. Relationship between speech-language pathology and health care, education and other professions are further examined. Opportunities for continuous professional and interprofessional education (IPE) and development to enhance team performance and outcomes are available.
